Ahhh…Markie Post. Add me to the list of those who had her as an an early crush. Her Night Court outfits may have been “buttoned down” a bit, but those skirts with the slit in the front. Yowza…

This episode is so good, especially the dinner scene. The slow burn in Dianne as she watches Sam and Heather, her blow up, Sam’s “I’ve eaten through worse”, all gold. And yes, my favorite moment is the “Slut.” because of the horrified look Shelley gives which “oh god, I said that out loud!” Followed by the inspired writing of “I said, thanks-a-lot.”
So the name of Markie’s character is “Heather”. On “The Fall Guy”, one of her co-stars was Heather Thomas. Coincidence? Of course it is, but still interesting. Markie was utterly adorable both on Fall Guy and Night Court, but dang, her part here was quite stirring to say the least.
