It’s always weird to me when they include a pre-filmed clip and the audience is silent, because presumably, there’s no way in the studio to show it. So being there, you heard Diane telling her story but didn’t get the ironic counterpoint of the visuals. So in person, you could have taken the story at face value.
The Triangle, season 4, episode 15, has the “touching hair scene” you believed (hoped) was in this episode.
And for once, this is not a guess.
I’m definitely riding the Frazier Crane train, because he’s so darn likeable. The writers made a great decision from the get-go of having Frazier befriend Sam, instead of establishing a rivalry between them. They still have fun with it, and jokes at each other’s expense, but it lets Frazier join the gang instead of being an irritant to Sam.
And Coach playing all 3 at the end was simply the best! Showing yet again, Coach brings heart to the show. *snif* Sorry, something in my eye.
