It’s an unusual movie for sure, but for the visuals alone I say it’s worth a look. It’s not easy to find, unfortunately (no iTunes, etc.). But worth it!

Great show, guys. Rob, I was interested to hear you say that A Matter of Life and Death is obscure in the States. Over here in the UK it’s really famous – probably an It’s A Wonderful Life deal in that it was always on telly in the Seventies, courtesy of the BBC.
I’ve never understood that business about people dreaming in black and white. Why would we? I don’t.
The freeze frame and the bell ringing are also (tenuous) links with IAWL.
A Canterbury Tale is so weird, I definitely recommend seeking it out.
It’s me again, hello (waves). Just been rewatching Captain America: The First Avenger and I’ll be darned if the scene in which Steve is saying goodbye to Peggy as his plane heads for New York doesn’t remind me of Peter and June.
