So lovely to hear Xum again.
This really illuminated a side of DC fandom that I had no idea about. Long distance fandom in the pre-internet age is something I was well aware of as an Aussie Doctor Who fan. Sending in SAEs was always a challenge if you’re in the wrong country!

I can’t express how heartwarming it is to hear Xum’s voice again.
The articles were fun to hear, and Professor Xum reads them wonderfully. The real treasure comes at the end of the show when Xum shares his personal history with the mail-in fan club. He tells a great story about two generations of comic fans, family bonds, dark corners of American history, and DC history. Thanks!
