  1. This is another one of my favorite episodes for all the reasons you guys mention here. This is just a hoot.

This is such a great script, I wonder how many different ‘favorite lines’ you would get if you sent out a poll.

Mine is from Pat Morita – and I say it every now and then in conversation and no one gets the reference. I’m paraphrasing but he says ‘Did he look somewhere between the ages of 40 and 200? Look like he fell off a charm bracelet?’

I wish I knew why that strikes me as hilarious but it does. I’m laughing as I type it.

    Great episode!

  2. So glad to hear Amanda back on the podcast – I love her! And what a great episode to talk about. The podcast is consistently terrific, but this is an especially great episode.

  3. Always a pleasure to hear Amanda on the network. Anyone who can make me enjoy a podcast about a Suzanne Sommers TV Beach movie is one helluva podcaster! I love her show!

And speaking of Suzanne Sommers…John Ritter! I need to go watch this one on Hulu. I love John Ritter. Who doesn’t?

I’m glad Amanda got to do the episode BEFORE Loretta Swit. I feel for whoever has to follow her!

  4. Probably the best episode yet for one of the greatest episodes ever. A wonderful guest who added soooo much. I am new Amanda fan. You have a wonderful philosophy about relating to Hawkeye and his morals at the time of your childhood. Mee too. 1970s TV was very progressive and I hope that shows like Mash (how to treat humans) Happy Days (How to treat your friends) and all my Norman Lehr shows like All in the Family, Jeffersons, etc… just woke something up inside of me that was already there. However, how do we know? I am a teacher and do know that TV can be very influential in a GOOD way. Star Trek TNG=Honor and loyalty and many others. keep em coming! Looking for forward to each week! #season3guest

  5. Rob and Amanda: Excellent episode. We must be on the same wavelength, I always thought a Sidney Freedman TV show had great potential. Allan Arbus added so much to MASH.
