John Cohen is the guy who expressed interest in Dylan’s take on the old song, Pennys Farm.
Another point, that evening Dylan did return to acoustic by way of saying goodbye. Very interesting twist on the audience desires.
The mayor McDougal st (van ronk) and a freewheelin time (rotolo) are fabulous additions.
Well, there were numerous witnesses to Dylan meeting and playing to Woody Guthrie. But perhaps you mean the sense of a torch passed…thats a bit more interpretive and arguable.
