Guys the story you’re talking about is not the Maltese Falcon where the murder is solved very neatly and the only complex thing is that the falcon is a forgery But that only matters if you care.
You are (I think) talking about “The Big Sleep” I am NOT sure as the Big Sleep is not a novel i’ve red whereas i’ve MF 4 TIMES having written a few Essays on it.
