I’ll just be sitting here waiting for Sean to start a Lou Reed podcast…
Great podcast, as always. If I could have any Dylan song for my own, this is it. In Rolling Thunder (my favorite version), I always found his delivery of the set opener is less “I’ll never paint a masterpiece — doesn’t matter too much” than “yeah, I’ve painted about 40 masterpieces already…” His tone was completely different later on when doing songs like “Hurricane” etc.
