  1. Beautifully done, Rob. RIP Tara…….she’s not knocking on heaven’s door, she’s kicking it down and joining the party….

  2. It may be heresy to say this here, but (whisper it) I’m not much of a Bob Dylan fan.
I do, however, love good podcasts, and your conversations with Tara were never anything less than electrifying listening, Rob.
Even in the briefest snippet of her contributions, it was clear that Tara’s mind was a firework; a Catherine Wheel throwing out bright, bold sparks of ideas in all directions with passion and erudition. She could spot patterns in lyrics and link the most eclectic references with ease & conviction. Her narrative paths through Bob’s songs were extraordinarily imaginative but always clear, even for someone who isn’t completely familiar with every last Dylan song.
This podcast – and in particular Tara’s most recent enthusiastic contributions – are the reason why ‘Rough & Rowdy Ways’ is cued up on my Spotify. I’ll listen, and think of Tara’s excitement for the music.
My sincere condolences to Walter & Rob for their sad loss.

  3. I loved the enthusiasm and insight that Tara brought to this show, and am sorry to hear about her passing. My thoughts and feelings go out to her family and friends.

  4. Thanks for doing this, Rob. It couldn’t have been easy.

Tara’s ability as a Dylan thinker has long been known to me, but that does not necessarily always make for a good live talker. Tara turned out to be great at that, too, as we all now know.

So far, so impressive – but to do it while she was going through such horrendous health problems and with such a dynamic spirit stretched credulity.

Your last interaction could not have been more apt, and so I am very glad that you included that. Well done, all round.

  5. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet, work and live beside Tara when we lived in the NWT. Tara is an amazing singer, huge heart and a unforgettable smile❤️❤️❤️I made her a Bob Dylan birthday cake and she loved it!! Til we meet again my friend

  6. appreciated this tribute, very sorry to hear. early on in discovering this podcast I had listened to the discussion about highlands and enjoyed tara’s enthusiasm and insights. and again with her thoughts on the new record. a meaningful remembrance of a wonderful spirit.

  7. Posting belatedly to express my appreciation for being introduced to Tara on the show, and for being lucky enough know her in some small way by hearing her enthusiasm and love for music and life. My sympathies to her family and her many friends
