  1. Great job, as usual, and great guest! Andy’s discovery of Donner’s lost footage reminds me of reading Marvel’s Pizzazz magazine back in the day. In a cover story on Superman: The Movie (!!! the cover was the photo of Christopher Reeve in the Superman costume in front of the skyline, but with a word balloon to the effect that it was his proudest moment to appear on a Marvel magazine) an actress on the Spider-Man TV show who’d been a stuntwoman on Superman described a stunt that involved falling from a building, bouncing off an awning, and landing in a moving fruit cart. That scene kept me mystified for years.

What color is the Fire & Water Credit Card? Gold? Platinum? Blue? On some ’80s show, I forget which, but Andy could probably tell you, the guys got hold of an upgraded charge card that was blue:
    “Why blue?”
    “Because the sky’s the limit.”

  2. I was telling my wife, Michelle (who is a huge James Bond fan), about the “Unified Pepper Theory” at dinner the other night and my daughter, Kira, asked what the name of your show was, so I told her. Michelle asked her why she wanted to know and Kira responded that she wanted to listen to it. Now I’m to download back episodes and play them for her, probably on car trips. I hope she won’t be too disappointed that the Superman/Bond/A-Team talk doesn’t take place for a little while. 😉

  3. Yes! More Superman Movie Minute! Now, with bonus Andrew Leyland! The Fantasticast is one of my favorite shows, and it sounds like I need to check out his Spider-Man show, too. As for the actual Superman movie at hand, when I was a kid, I just assumed that being in the Phantom Zone gave these particular Kryptonians slightly different powers than Superman himself. This has no precedent in the comics, or in anything, really, but I do clearly recall putting that in my “head canon” even during the first viewing for the film on the big screen.

  4. It was nice of Andy to let Chris and Rob appear on this episode. KIDDING! Andy was an excellent guest, and made for a great episode.

Halfway? How can that be? Time has flown, by God. “Zod.”
