  1. How many minutes before Miss Tessmacher makes her appearance?
Seriously, loved this film from the moment I saw it as a kid in 1978. I’m looking forward to this show!

  2. So I am guessing Episode 1: The opening credits.

Looking forward to this and hopefully I will have forgotten most of what you guys say when my podcast gets to Superman: The Movie in a few years.

  3. Looking forward to this show. Hopefully by the time I reach Superman: The Movie, I will have forgotten what these guys have said.

So, will there be more than 1 episode on the opening credits? I know those take more than 5 minutes.

  4. Hooray! I can’t wait to hear this. I do one of these myself and I am consistently amazed at how much I find to say about a single minute of a movie.

One question: I imagine you guys are covering the Theatrical Version. Will you cover (or mention) all the extra footage in the TV version?

    1. We’ll probably do special episodes covering that material. We will be doing a special preview episode just on the trailer, which will drop between now and when the show officially starts.

  5. Looking forward to this!
Thought Hackman was solid as Luthor. His ‘people will pay through the nose to get it’ land speech is a fave.

      1. I love Hackman’s Luthor. Mind you, I’d love to see Xum Yukinori’s version of him in the SuperPowers Lexor Armor.

  6. I still have my beat up Treasury covering the movie. I read that one repeatedly.

I also loved Hackman as Lex & especially his underground lair. If only he hadn’t sent that other missile to Hackensack!

  7. I liked Hackman as Lex. Lex’s portrayls in the comics had been all over the map in the 40 years before this (and honestly since), so it’s a valid interpretation, and Hackman excells at it.

    Chris

        1. We should do one for TMP. “So we are still looking at the Enterprise in space dock. Welcome to episode 116!”
