This is one of the rare episodes I had very little memory of so it was almost like new to me, though I did remember certain parts like the strange scene at the church. The first act of this episode reminded me of the much better Woody wedding episode because Sam is running around trying to juggle multiple crises at once to get the wedding to come together.
It’s kind of fun in these early season-six episodes to see Rebecca interact with some of the bar regulars because she doesn’t seem to know who they all are yet or at least doesn’t know them very well. At one point in this episode she looked at Norm and Cliff like she wasn’t very familiar with them, and I think the next episode she says that she doesn’t know Frasier yet.
It’s a big part of the plot! They’re really tracking these relationships well.
“You’re out of uniform.” WAS a perfect delivery.
I was fine with the wedding being done the way it was as at least it avoids the sitcom cliche of every wedding being done on an existing set with the flimsiest of excuses.
My brother and I still quote the Norm and Cliff hors d’oeuvres exchange “Together! Together!” at any family function that ahs appetizers.
HAHA That’s awesome! “Hoo-oo-oo, Rumaki!”
