I thought everyone had a “fun uncle” (or aunt) who, you discover or realize later must’ve been drunk all the time.
Pedantry section: Silly geese, you can’t sell David-themed string underwear at the Louvre! Michelangelo’s David is in Florence!
I think the Sam story is meant to be the A plot, but the Frasier/Woody/Rebecca story is classic, especially the way it all ties together in the end. Classic lines by Frasier like “I don’t have an act, I’m a psychiatrist,” “Clowning is my avocation,” and “I’ve been doing this el fresco.” The ending gag was even funnier because it was offscreen.
I say Sam’s “Why is my voice so high?” line when talking to my fitness class at one of the breaks, kidding about how tired I am. Not sure how I started using it, but it certainly could have been planted in my head from this episode.
