Good interview Shag! Always great to hear from Gerry. I will be picking the new book up at my LCS this afternoon.
What a great interview! It was great to hear Gerry talk about not only Firestorm, but his thoughts on the state of the comics industry, without any of the teeth gnashing and vitriol we often hear. Some very good points, and very well conveyed. What a classy guy.
Chris
Loved hearing Gerry talk about Firestorm and his creations making it to live-action. Here’s hoping we get a monthly Firestorm series again soon and hopefully some trades/collections of the original Fury of Firestorm series (They have the first 6 issues up on Comixology now).
An expertly timed podcast.
You are such a great interviewer Shag, plus Gerry is the perfect subject. So nice to see a veteran creator who’s still not only still passionate about comics, but actively reading the good stuff from more than the big two.
Gerry has excellent taste in comics, and I want to second his endorsement of ATOMIC ROBO. It really is one of the best comics being published today.
Nice job Shagg, it’s always good to hear Gerry chatting. I loved Legends of Tomorrow #1 and am itching for a long-run of Conway comics.
So, who will you interview next?
