Hero Points is back! Siskoid and Shag present a Hero Points/JSA Podcast crossover by covering “The World at War”, a sourcebook covering the World War II era, all its homefront heroes AND the stars of war comics like Sgt. Rock. It’s the most requested DC Heroes RPG book in the catalog, so we can safely say “because YOU demanded it!”

Siskoid says FDR is rated “too strong” in this sourcebook, given he had polio. FDR was actually very strong—polio only struck his legs. He developed his upper body to the point he could potentially drag himself out of a burning building with his arms, because he was fearful of being trapped in a fire. The book No Ordinary Time by historian Doris Kearns Goodwin has that and tons of other great info about FDR and Eleanor Roosevelt.
Good to know!
