  1. Really enjoyable episode, that. I for one always appreciate Andy lowering the tone.

It was ruefully fascinating to hear you talk about grown men getting into ridiculous fistfights at garages over fuel shortages as if they belonged to a bygone era, while right now, over here on Brexit island, grown men are getting into ridiculous fistfights at garages over fuel shortages. Where’s Gus Gorman when you need him?

  2. Never thought Superman got drunk because of the alcohol. The effects of the synthetic kryptonite were gradual on Superman, and by this time it is taking a toll on him. In essence Superman is drunk on synthetic Kryptonite, not booze.

    1. Agreeing with Luc about the effects of the synthetic kryptonite vs alcohol.

It is funny the things that also went completely over my head watching this as well, but I did know that Superman and Lorelei were about to do something that wasn’t kosher. It wasn’t the part that stuck with me over the years though.

What I find funny is what another commentator mentioned, how Superman acted afterwards like he didn’t know who Lorelei was. He remembered everything else he did while “bad” and fixed them. So him saying that was a cop out and low.

I also love Superman and Lois, but hate the way they deal with all of the underage drinking as well. These aren’t college students or seniors in high school. They are freshman. Not even close to the proper age. That is an annoyance of mine as well. No consequences, but seems to be in every other 2 episodes.
