This episode always stands out in my memory because we see Norm painting again, which feels like season six, and it’s interesting to see him in Frasier and Lilith’s apartment. The episodes set there are always a cut above the normal episode. Before the Frasier spinoff, I used to imagine a Frasier and Lilith spinoff in Boston with that apartment as the main set.
I always wondered if Lilith and Frederick kept living in that same apartment after Frasier moved to Seattle. In one episode of Frasier, he, Niles, and Martin go to visit Lilith and Frederick in Boston for Thanksgiving. As I recall, we see only the kitchen of Lilith’s home, not the living room, and I thought it could be the same apartment and we’re just seeing a different part of it than we did on Cheers.
Maryann was a delightful guest host! Here’s hoping she’ll be back soon!
As always, I love Lilith’s balance of being very emotional, but rarely showing emotions. Bebe’s portrayal never gets old and is always hilarious!
