Please don’t take this as ageist, but I watched the interview that Ryan mentioned at 1.25 speed and it made it like everyone was 30 years younger.
A mish-mash of sitcom ideas thrown together, but relatable: We all know a Cliff; we all know a person who had a brush with celebrity; and we all know a “book club”.
Great to have Cheers Cast back! I agree this episode is kind of middling for Cheers which is still better than most anything else on TV. All three of the plots felt like B or C plots. The idea that Cliff and Norm can afford to hire a trained monkey to do all this — that’s gotta be expensive for a postman and a barely employed painter. And where is the trainer? Surely a customer can’t take a trained monkey without the trainer. Having said all that I laughed a lot when watching this.
