It’s great to reach the Woody/Kelly era. They were a perfect match.. Kelly’s naïveté from being sheltered in a rich family makes a nice match with Woody’s naïveté. Also, actress Jackie Swanson grew up in west Michigan where I am from so I always liked that. I remember our local newspaper writing about her being on Cheers.
The actor who plays Kelly’s father is fantastic at playing a rich snob in a non-stereotypical way. He has funny lines in the coming seasons especially when he interacts with Sam at social events. The episodes that involve Kelly and her family are among the best in the later seasons.
Not a huge fan of Kelly at this point, I gotta say. The naive rich girl just doesn’t do it for me as a type. Maybe she’ll grow on me.
