I must admit I’d never heard of this film. I actually just by coincidence watched the first film he directed, “Not as a Stranger” (1955) a few weeks ago on TCM. The list of great films he either produced or directed is just staggering. Thanks for highlighting this important Hollywood figure whose works should be much more appreciated & discussed.
Kudos also for your fine conversation with Kathleen Quinlan. It must’ve been a thrilling experience to speak with her.
