A very interesting & informative episode. I’m glad you had the opportunity to cover Jayne’s career. John Waters discussed her in the PBS American Cinema 1990s miniseries as the ultimate star who would do practically anything for fame & attention.
A great discussion about a star I’m familar with, but can honestly say I knew little to nothing about. But now I’m fascinated to actually watch some of her better films, and especially that one with Christopher Lee (surprise, surprise!). I can’t imagine you could have had a better guest on the subject than April.
Wonderful episode! April is so erudite and has done so much beautiful research–she knows her stuff! It was such a pleasure to listen to!
