I have never been anything but excited over this movie, and I thought the newest trailer looked great. A little surprised (pleasantly) that they kept Vader out of it so much.
Thanks for doing an episode so quickly on this!
Great quick episode. I am so excited to see this movie. Since seeing Star Wars episode 7, I have the same excitement of a child back that I had waiting for Return of the Jedi.
This was a great trailer. The only thing that got me thinking of something other then Star Wars was the line “Save the Rebellion. Save the dream.” That reminded me of the tag line for the first season of Heroes, “Save the cheerleader. Save the world”. Other than that it was a really great trailer.
Thanks for putting this out so quick. I enjoy listening to this podcast.
This may be the best SW flick
The trailer was good, but I was already going to see it. I don’t really have much to add, agreeing with your thoughts on the different perspective we’re getting being a welcome one. I’d like to see this “outer rim” movies take on different flavors, and keep the numbered movies in that Star Wars zone Abrams reestablished.
Chris
I’m hoping my resistance to being enthusiastic about this film with have a pay off of delight and thrills. It may be ‘just a movie’ at the end of the day.
