  1. Rob, season 1 of M*A*S*HCast was, unsurprisingly, amazing and the 1st mail call episode was just as delightful, and not just because one of my missives was read! Looking forward to traveling through season 2 with yourself and the rest of the loyal listeners, and even possibly contributing to one of the episodes! Until you break the world’s record for most podcasts created, MAKE MINE M*A*S*H!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Well, I took too long putting my name in for Season 2, but no problem. You’ve had such great guests in Season 1, I’ll just enjoy the ride! See you then! That is (not) all.

  3. Alan Alda’s clear and vivid with the cast of MASH is up! It’s really great. Fantastic stories. David Ogden Stiers’ prank they tell is fantastic! Well worth an hour of your time.

  4. I decided to place my comment here as it is in reference to all of season one. And since it’s been over seven years since Rob did this season one recap, I doubt anyone will see it anyway.

Yet I have to say that I am surprised that there was doubt about this series getting green lighted for a second season. Am I the only person who thinks season one is brilliant? Okay so it includes the much maligned episode Fred C Dobbs. Still it is one great episode after another.

And how can anyone watch the episode Showtime and not get choked up knowing that Colonel Blake will never get to see his new son. And we have Father Mulcahy questioning if what he is doing at the 4077 really matters? I love the scene with him and Hawkeye. And Trapper gets the main focus as he struggles with saving a patient. And finally I still laugh every time Frank pulls those pranks on Hawkeye only to have Hawkeye get the last laugh. I love how this was all done in fun between Frank and Hawkeye and that there was no animosity.

So in closing, I apologize for not getting to this MASH Cast party until 2025 and thus posting these random comments to episodes that are in most people’s rear window.
