Fun discussion gents! I haven’t watched the bulk of the original Transformers animated series in decades, but as you were talking about this one, the memories came flooding back. And of course I feel the trauma you all did with the 86 movie, which I still love. But who expected to be emotionally scarred by a matinee on a Saturday in your local smalltown theater?
I’m pretty sure I cried as hard as Daniel did when Optimus Prime turned black.
Even though the commercials ask “Does Prime die?” I never expected him to STAY dead!
I don’t remember these episodes, but I enjoyed this discussion. Ryan, Delvin, Pat, and the Transformers are a great combination.
Thanks! I hope you enjoyed listening to all three parts.
