And here I was so ashamed of my attempt at singing my own theme song for First Strike I put it at the end of a show as a blooper…
Great premiere episode! Really enjoyed the FORCE AWAKES talk, and especially the action figure discussion! The toy discussion brought back a bunch of memories. About six years ago, I dug mine out of the attic for my old blog. So sorry you don’t have all your figures anymore, nerds. Eat it!

Man, I loved this! Glad to hear you guys are still liking Force Awakens. I’ve only seen it three times, but I liked it more each time.
The action figure discussion was fantastic! Makes me wish I’d had more than a handful of vintage Star Wars figures as a kid! The stories of Rob turning Luke’s Landspeeder into the General Lee, and Ryan and his brother pioneering custom action figures had me rolling in my cubicle at work!
Fantastic premiere!
Chris
Wow, we’re all just commenting on each other’s shows. Congrats boys, we’re on our way to being a cult!
In any case, I’m really excited about this new show, it was a (laser) blast being on the first episode, I’m really looking forward to what comes next!
Chewbacca gives it five bowcasters!
That’s how we got to know one another in the first place, isn’t it?
Fantastic! Can’t wait for more.
At 00:00:15 – I have a bad feeling about this.
At 00:00:17 – I wish I was on Alderon.
At 00:00:19 – Just throw me into the Salac pit already!
At 00:20 – Ooooohhh! Now it’s like I’m at a banquet at Cloud City.
At 00:32:20 – (promo fights) Like listening to the love dialog between Anakin and Padme.
At 01:04:00 – It’s like the end of Empire Strikes Back… What about Han? What’s going to happen next? Why is Lando wearing Han’s white shirt and vest? That Luke and Leia scene is going to be awkward come Return of the Jedi.
We had a 28 volume of Funk & Wagnalls Encyclopedia set that I would set up like a temple from Yavin and arrange my figures on, and of course knock over. Loved the Tie fighter with spring loaded wings!
My toys included: Death Star, Falcon, Cantina, Droid Factor, Tie Fighter, the vinyl square carrying case and most figures from A New Hope and Empire.
Those encyclopedia sets were always great for obstacles and makeshift playsets for Star Wars and G.I. Joes.
Glad to have you back, Ryan!
Great premiere episode! I bet your second guest will be even better!
