Original Spider Baby poster, oddly referencing Lolita and Whatever Happened to Baby Jane, films released five years before Spider Baby.
Great modern home media packaging art
More great art on a sweet album release of the Ronald Stein soundtrack from Rob Zombie.
The loving but incredibly disturbed Merrye family: Elizabeth (Beverly Washburn), Ralph (Sid Haig), Virginia (Jill Banner), and there caretaker Bruno (Lon Chaney, Jr.)
The titular Spider Baby, Virginia is about to catch a big fat juicy bug…
Bruno and Ralph enjoy an awkward meal with their guests. Notice how much poor Chaney is sweating on set.
No one else was interested in Viriginia’s signature dish of insects and spiders…YUM!
The last sight Schlocker sees before the girls end his interloping.
Virginia comes on to a very uncomfortable Peter (Quinn P. Redekker) while playing spider. And Jack Hill’s grandmother is about to have a damaged rocking chair.
The famous outtake that makes it into the film. Washburn’s expression is captured on the album cover above!
Title card for The Adventures of Superman Season 1 episode, “The Evil Three”.
Elsa (Cecil Elliot), Macy Taylor (Rhys Williams) and Colonel Brand (Jonathan Hale), the titular Evil Three…even if Elsa isn’t really very evil. Just a bit nuts.
Perry White (John Hamilton) turns down Superman’s (George Reeves) offer for a flight back to Metropolis. And poor Jimmy Olsen (Jack Larson) is put out.
