21st CENTURY COSMIC BOY #9
Written by ROBBIE THOMPSON
art by POP MHAN
cover by YILDIRAY ÇINAR
Continues from AQUAGIRL #13! Years ago, while possessing the body of Hank Hall, Mordru faked the death of Dawn Granger. Imprisoned, the Agent of Order was forced to conceive a child for the Lord of Chaos, with the intent that their offspring would serve as Mordru’s next host body. However, they gave birth to a daughter, and with the help of Doctor Fate and Waverider, the girl was hidden in space and time. Despite the circumstances of her conception, Dawn knows only love and forgiveness for “Raina di Bella,” raised by former hosts of Fate’s. The child has been reunited with her mother through the efforts of Lorena Marquez and Kit Freeman, whose own life and timeline had been altered by the Lords of Order and Chaos. Now Mordru returns to claim his spiritual heir, but the Hawk and the Dove are reunited to stand against him. Kid Eternity’s loyalties are more divided, but regardless of his intentions, his actions will see another birth this day, fulfilling Steve Dayton’s obsession with a new League of Super-Heroes!

Rescued from an incensed Lobo by Lady Quark, Adam Strange is faced with hard decisions. As the last standing citizen of Rann, he must let go of his anger if he is to find a way to save himself and his family from the Zeta tumors. Further, he will need swift aid from superior intellects if Rann is to have any hope, and the ongoing conflicts have proven a brain drain. The Dominators have reformed the Alien Alliance, this time to push back against the oppressive presences of the New Citadel, Green Lantern Corps, and Darkstars. Any force that could raze Jekuul threatens the entire galaxy, creating as strange a bedfellow as General Zod. Will Adam represent Rann among the so-called “Omega Men” forming within the Alliance, and does he have a choice after stiffing the Main Man and his pirate band?

THE KIDS’ CRUSADE CONTINUES Goat-Man threatens to bring the entire Monster Society of Evil to bear against Fabletown to reclaim his son Billy from the Goats Gruff cult, themselves enthralled to Belial. Faced with bearing the burden of an entire multiverse of guilt, Lord Scapegoat has agreed to aid Felina Furr against his father. However, his price is that Felina must face her own greatest guilt– her role in the murder of Chester Cheese, the Micro-Mouse. As the Spirit of Redemption, part of Alex DeWitt’s transition to Heavenly peace was to protect Felina from the Wrath of her planned successor, temporarily turning Furr to fleshy humanoid and sending her into deep space with Captain K’Rot. Since her reversion to cat-form, the new Spectre has been distracted by the death of the Anti-Marmoset and its reverberations across the multiverse. Hesitant as she is to admit it, despite the danger to both her body and soul, Alley-Kat-Abra needs this reckoning, and most probably the Big Cheese himself!

CREEPER #8
written by CHRISTOPHER SEBELA

PRELUDE TO SOCIETY OF SHADOWS: FRATRICIDE! The Bronze Tiger makes short work of the Longbow Hunters, but he has far more to contend with. Onyx Adams’ silver-plated bionic arm has severely compromised Ben Turner’s were-form, and she reveals that both the Longbow Hunters and the Outsiders clans are in thrall to the Society of Shadows. It’s Aztek the Ultimate Woman to the rescue, but she still hasn’t spotted the dark archer Merlyn. The modern age Rorschach, Reggie Long, has been feeding Ira Quimby a steady diet of PWN America First News. Though barely intelligible, he’s figured out that the network is just one front on which the Shadow Lords are waging war against democracy, and a squad of StormForce troopers has been dispatched to collect him. It turns out Jack’s begrudging ally in Seattle, John Diggle, isn’t. So caught up in global conspiracies, he failed to notice Nemesis going full Kirk Lazarus right under his nose, and the story of how “The Qreeper” crept away with him won’t even make BrightBark…

ROBIN IN DETECTIVE COMICS #1039
Written By JIM RUGG
art by RAFAEL ALBUQUERQUE
cover by RUDY AO
card stock variant cover by KYLE HOTZ
SOCIETY OF SHADOWS: FRATRICIDE BEGINS! Department P.S.I. asks the question, why exactly did Anton Arcane take up residence in Arkham Asylum in the first place? The Midnighter and Robin are expected to come up with the answer, and they’ll take the implications very personally.
Damian Wayne seethes over being misled about the Mud Pack, who he discovered were actually impregnated with the Rigor virus and used as bait to infect intelligence agencies and Super Powered Beings. He would know by whom and to what end. Following the deaths of his fellow orphans, Dr. Nigaff’s ersatz Robin, Francisco Ramirez, was recruited by The Society of Shadows to serve in their subversion campaign within the League of Assassins. Assuming the new identity of El Loco, Ramirez retained his core principles while acting as a double agent for Batman’s former lover, Talia. Mother orders him to act as Damian’s guide in seeking his “grandfather,” Sensei, the presumed architect behind Vertisol. But first, they’ll have to meet with his predecessor, the cybernetic abomination that was once Doctor Ebenezer Darrk…
Midnighter’s lover “Go-Go” Fiasco and his partner Angela St. Grace have used their G.O.O.D. access to secretly investigate P.S.I. The Knockout pair have connected them to both International Operations and M’s former boss, The Gardener, herself a known associate of Arcane. Plus, the recovering Kirk Langstrom is recruited to help develop countermeasures against Man-Bat Commandos.

Still cognitive dissonance at having a Black Label, 17+ Alley-Kat-Abra on the stands in your universe.
That was both practical and thematically correct. Decided to do a quasi-Vertigo crossover with Abel, which was already Mature Readers, but also leaning into the cognitive dissonance with the project overall. Combination of diving into the New 52 lore and shifting of intentions as the months wore on.
Another great episode with fascinating takes on these characters. I definitely love the concept of the fractured Legion is very cool. And always love to hear Russell. His Ranzz books were also intriguing.
My one book – Lady Ch’ian
A Killer For The Ages
Written by Matt Fraction & Kelly Sue DeConnick
Art/covers by Mike Perkins
Variant Covers by Jenny Frison
Lady Ch’ian is a noble warrior, sworn to protect ancient Atlantis from threats both within and without. Her strong code of ethics and her stronger sword arm makes her a leader, a fighter, and when needed a killer.
But Ch’ian is haunted by dreams of another life. In a strange future world (our present), she is a Lady Shiva, a noted killer with a mutable code of ethics and uncanny skill at martial arts. She doesn’t suffer fools. She is an intimidator, a threat, and when needed a killer.
But is she Ch’ian dreaming she is Shiva? Or Shiva dreaming she is Ch’ian? Or are both lives real, rooted in the different worlds.
Is this woman going mad, torn between two personas? Or is there something more magical happening?
Shiva is the ‘Whos missing’ character in this book so thought bringing her in here would make up for it. Figured Fraction wrote Immortal Iron Fist and could write the Atlantean stuff. DeConnick wrote Bitch Planet and Captain Marvel and would be up for the modern day Shiva stuff. You could splinter things even more, making the characters dream of the Sword and Sorcery Starfire as yet another ‘is it a dream or reality?’ I figure the book ends with there being some curse on the character forcing her to live two conflicted lives. Perkins work on the recent Lois Lane book, filled with Montoya Question kung fu action makes him a good choice. And Frison’s variants will bring in more eyes.
I made a choice to generally not comment on anyone’s proposals in Who’s Editing, except where compelled, like Siskoid’s “which single title would you buy” question. That said, I just want to say that I like how yours expands Shiva beyond the “yardstick” measure, and frankly does the same for the largely forgotten Lady Chian. Deepening the lore benefits all involved here.
Thanks man!
Means a lot!

Unused since the ’00s, the Liberator star-fighter is functional, but far from optimal. While Dart is anxious to pursue the Dark Destroyer, her cohorts insist on repairs before leaving Earth, and several refuse to depart without addressing Alien Containment Enforcement’s internment camps. In Northern California, Grifter turns up a disgruntled former engineer late of the Atari Technology and Research Institute named Gary Rand. Not only is he familiar with the Liberator, but he’s morally opposed to A.C.E. After making improvements on the ship’s front shields and reaction-speed, as well as winding up the C.A.T.s for an ill-advised test run, Rand encounters resistance from Cosmic Boy and his League of Super-Heroes. JUSTICE LEAGUE EXTREME #2

SOCIETY OF SHADOWS: FRATRICIDE CONTINUES! Having collected Blok from the ravaged island of Zandia, the League of Super-Assassins can now target the new Justice League before the supposed heroes can interfere with their plans for the 21st Century. Knightfall had sworn to defend Gotham City in the Batman’s absence, but Silver Slasher has brought the Shadows’ play to him in Coast City. It is well within Titania’s abilities to send Requiem back to Hell. Even Dark Flash struggles against the lightspeed of Lazon. Perhaps Mist Master can muster a mustard gas that could kill a compromised Kryptonian like Reignman? Blok is the weak link in his conviction to the cause, but Aquamaster may not have the empathy to exploit that indecision. Even if Bloodwynd can overcome the leader of assassins Neutrax, surely Mongul is too much for even the Omega Lantern?

“ALL GODS CHILDREN” CONTINUES! Donna Troy, Cassie Sandsmark, Nubia, the Fury, Jason, Kalista, Andromache, Achilles Warkiller, Devin, Delphae, and the disguised Circe & Lyta follow Jennifer Morgan through Doom’s Doorway down a secret route to Skartaris. Along the way, they are surprised to encounter Lord Satanis, who is pursuing his errant vizier Prince Ra-Man to the gathering of demigods. Mingled among the masses are familiar faces Devastation, Pele, Cassandra, Milan, Eryx, Calypso, Atlantiades, Quetzlotl, and the Children of Cronus. The group is surprised to meet yet another Amazon-adjacent representative, Brazillian teenager Yara Flor, who’s made fast friends with Miguel Devante and the Monkey Prince. Less enthused are Vext, Caille, and the Black Racer’s son Jog, but Lord Crash insists that this may just be the scratch in the universe’s record. With the Sphere of the Gods shrinking, peripheral halflings are being pushed out of the nest, inspiring a populist uprising against the hierarchy of deities. Where some see this as an opportunity for positive change throughout creation, others seek to claim power by igniting otherwise pointless destruction, including King Shark, Chaon, and Ahpuch. Most specifically, Takehiko pursues an alliance with Cassie’s half-brother Lycus and Diana’s half-brother First Born in a bid to unseat Elaine Belloc on the Throne of Heaven itself! Tension mount, as Shango and Thor come to thunderous blows!

GEN⁵² #7
written by FRANK J. BARBIERE
art & cover by BEN CALDWELL
variant cover by BEN CALDWELL
REIGN OF THE SUPERBOY BEGINS! Kon-El is the assumed name of a clone derived from the genetic material of Kal-El of Krypton and Lex Luthor of Earth. “Kon” was used as a slur on Krypton, which abhorred the practice of cloning following an uprising, and roughly translates into “abomination.” Kal-El was either a very poor student of language or a practitioner of super-dickery.
After Lord Harvest arrived from the 31st Century, he cultivated an alliance with International Operations to gain access to the gen-active progeny of Team 7. Five of the children formed a unit dubbed Gen¹³ to resist the control of I/O. Eventually their leader Fairchild infiltrated Project N.O.W.H.E.R.E. in hopes of completely halting governmental exploitation of unwilling gen-actives. The scope of the project was far grander than she imagined, and Fairchild ultimately only managed to liberate one of the Superboy clones, along with a small band of seasoned Ravagers for a brief period of time. Manipulated by Harvest and his secret associate Niles Caulder, Fairchild was again allowed to escape a Colony with the expectation that she would seek out more lost subjects to reform Gen¹³. Instead, she gathered a hybrid group and traveled to the early 31st Century.
In the old holoprog history vids, Jocelyn Lure was taught that metahumans had helped create a utopic state on Earth until the 2900s. As the metahumans became more oppressive, humanity violently resisted, leading to all-out war. In a precursor to the United Planets, Earth reached out to other worlds for resources in genetically crafting human-alien hybrids in order to counter the metahumans. Fearing metahumans looking skyward, the aliens lent assistance, and Earth was reclaimed for non-powered humanity. The hybrids that could not be controlled were placed in stasis, and the Science Police developed other protocols to insure metahumans would never again dominate. When the Legion of Super-Heroes were introduced, there was much resistance to the very concept, and the secret Echo division under Captain Nathaniel Adym recruited her specifically to monitor them for potential threat.
Returned to 3013, Detective Lure cannot find any such “Legion,” despite having spent months following a detail of them in the 21st Century. However, Captain Adym has been inspired by her stories, and wants Kon-El to be a part of his new Echo Academy, alongside his recruits Pol Krinn, Grev Mallor, Jed Rikane, Tayla Skott, Berta Skye Haris, Bobb Kohan, and Grava. There’s also Laurel Kent, who has her own designs on Kon-El…

S.T.A.R. SQUADRON #13
written by PETER J. TOMASI
art by JORGE JIMENEZ
cover by ALEX GARCIA
CONQUEST OF THE BARON EARTH TIE-IN! The A.L.L.S.T.A.R. satellite was built to serve as a watchtower to guard the Earth against threats from the stars. Its outward gaze blinded it to the true threats below, and the heroes above look down in horror as innocent alien refugees now flee a world aflame. General Haifisch, perhaps the last living Nazi on Earth, can no longer lay claim to that precise title. Ronnie Raymond, forcibly transformed into the mass-murdering Deathstorm, is one of the lucky ones. Faced with the throng of Ravagers, Overmaster struck a hasty bargain, slaughtering Tempest and his team. For good measure, Overmaster also threw in a claim to have personally destroyed Krypton, in case anyone doubted his power.
It was a blessing for Green Arrow that he answered Shiva’s call to Gotham, only having to watch on television as the Saturnians that had pursued their prince were wiped out by the Cadre. Alien parasites entering under the cover of the Alliance’s rescue efforts feast on the spinal fluid of human and extraterrestrial alike. Most of the New Bloods created during their last visit were rounded up by A.C.E. and quietly euthanized. A scant few members of the Blood Pack still seek answers, specifically from Nightblade, at their mortal peril. Ryan Choi managed to reach safety aboard the satellite with his partner Amanda Turner and their son Ichiro. Perhaps all is not lost?

Stormwatch Oz is torn apart, from within and without, during the Alien Alliance’s efforts to escort extraterrestrials off Earth. Foster McClane and Danii Melvin are fine with just following orders, James Bronson is not, and M’gann M’orzz’s sympathies are firmly with the aliens. Madinga doesn’t want to have to take a side, while Isadora Wellington-Smythe has been secretly undermining the Shadow Lords all along. Jeremy Wakefield opposes fighting fellow former Global Guardians like Tasmanian Devil, while Corinna and Mitchell Davies protest on general principle. The point may be moot however, as the Reach and Sleeping Soldiers were at least capable of running interference under these conflicted circumstances. Matters worsen considerably when the Legion of Super-Villains descend upon Australia, intent on using the island continent as their base of operations to launch yet another bid for global conquest in the troubled 21st Century. The Legion are not taking prisoners, and casualties are expected to be heavy…

After returning to her village toward the end of World War II to help train her people to fight against the Nazis, Ona Tornsen was bitten by a werewolf. Now near the end of her life, she is revolted to see her pack aligned with the Final Reich. Rejoining fellow supernaturally afflicted former Losers P.O.O.C.H., RoboSarge, and the Undead Gunman, along with the Frankensteinian “legacy” reanimated and conjoined Cloud Cousins, Ona leads a resistance within the Night Tribes. But what does it matter when Europe is bathed in nuclear flames, and the Atomic Skull has evolved into a fully adulterated monstrosity?

BROTHER POWER #11
written by REGINALD HUDLIN
art and cover by BART SEARS
Deshaun Coulter is vacationing in Iceland, trying to absorb the incredible revelations of recent months. Although raised as a mortal on Earth-23, he was actually the crown prince of Garnet, a nation of Gemworld. Like Amy Winston of Amethyst, he is possessed of mystical abilities inherent in his role as a ruler of a fantasy realm, but amplified by exposure to multiversal energies. Awakened by his psycho-spiritual manifestation on another Earth, and no longer weakened by exposure to garnet, Brother Power is the next best thing to Superman, may he rest in peace. Maybe that’s why the spirit of ancient Atlantean warrior Lady Chian reached across millennia to seek his help against her greatest enemy, the sorcerer Garn Daanuth. Stormwatch North may have recently routed O.G.R.E. in the partially resurfaced city-state of Poseidonis, but the Lord of Chaos had simply taken possession of Emperor Orm to retain rule over Chian’s ancestral home. Brother Power may have played a good game of whack-a-wizard with Deimos, but Garn Daanuth is on another level, and his Freedom Fighting buddies of Earth-X are a long way from Reykjavík.

The Night Tribes’ Nosferata and Batrok likewise gather allies from Fenris of the Archai, The Ape Mastermind, Teekl, Cockroach Andy, and Panther Man. The League offered their own representation, headed by Thor the Thunder Dog with his recruits Bud and Lou, a Ballostro, and a flock of Stymphalian Birds. The meeting is investigated by King Solomon and Hyperdog, joined by Qeelocke, Robot Kitten, Dogg, Reynard the Fox, Hamnet the snake, Warren Strong, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Maddy, and Ampersand. RED HOOD & THE DARK OUTLAWS #62
written by TIM SHERIDAN
art by PAOLO PANTALENA
cover by BOB QUINN
SOCIETY OF SHADOWS: FRATRICIDE CONTINUES!
Essence has been slain by the revived Nyssa Raatko, estranged daughter of Raʼs al-Ghūl, and the woman responsible for her sister Talia’s recent homicidal mania. With her loyal Society of Shadows, the All-Caste has been wiped out, with the lone exception of Jason Todd. Malcolm Merlyn has The Spider in his sights, while Talia contends with Dragonfly, Tiger Moth, and Silken Spider. At the command of their master Monarch, Dagon seeks to extract Red Hood and leave the Demonfang to their own devices, which requires running a gauntlet past Rictus, December Graystone, and Penumbra, who have already executed the Scarlet Scythe. Even if they should succeed, the White Ghost and Silencer would not look kindly on the abandonment of their mistress. Elsewhere, Kirigi and Kyodai Ken enter a deathmatch with the secret mastermind behind the Society of Shadows. In the end, Red Hood faces an entirely unexpected final adversary… one he has no hope of defeating.

SEPPUKU SQUAD #2
written by ALYSSA WONG

SOCIETY OF SHADOWS: FRATRICIDE TIE-IN! Even with the aid of Gamorran Pirates, the “hari-kari clan”… well, “lived up” would be an insensitive turn of phrase. Suffice to say that new positions have opened up in the transition. The revolutionary Absolom is highly sought after by local authorities, and his association with the pirates allows him to float between the island and mainland with relative ease. His ties to incarcerated Chinese gang leader Long, capable of turning into a dragon, would certainly reclaim strength lost with departed members. Unfortunately, Debbi Domaine’s revived Strike Force Kobra are also in Kokkyo City looking to spring the prospect, and a third interest is already embedded within that group by the name of Whisper A’Daire. Her secret master in the League of Assassins is very close friends with the current Kaizen Gamorra, who dispatches his favored killer, The Minotaur…

THE CLUB #9

art by SANDY JARRELL
cover by CLIFF CHIANG
variant cover by FRED GRIVAUD
At the urging of the C.I.A.’s Miles Craven, the overthrow of the democratically elected president of Bialya is engineered in favor of military dictatorship. On the ground, Jack Harackiewicz confides in Arn Munro the real story behind the so-called Korean War “hero.” Hank rages over a hit piece against Senator McCarthy on See It Now. Eddie Blake tries to take out his grudge against Johnny Quick on his best girl, but Libby Lawrence proves quicker still. Alan and Tex investigate the murder of a man named Bendix with a high tech weapon wielded by his own son, Henry. Following the Sliding Albion incident, neophyte vigilantes Knight and Squire begin nosing around the British Space Group.

CONQUEST OF THE BARON EARTH #12
written by PETER J. TOMASI
art by SERGIO DAVILA
cover by DIOGENES NEVES
Justice League of Europe. The Freedom Fighters. Knights Incorporated. The Establishment. The Monarchy. The Numbskulls. First Strike. The Insiders. All have perished.
At least Steve Trevor passed away doing his second favorite thing in the world. Perhaps he kisses his Angel again? It was decreed that all Nazis must die, and despite Azrael’s attempt to stop Cyclotron from completing its life’s mission, the detonation started a chain reaction that wiped out the Final Reich… and much of Europe with it. Severely weakened, with his half-Kryptonian solar cells damaged by the nuclear blast, Azrael must craft a containment suit stripped from the remains of Cyclotron and the irradiated helm of the late Baron Blitzkrieg. Unrecognizable, satellite images of the “Mourningstar” lay the blame for the tragedy at Azrael’s feet. The blue beam of light blasting though the sky beyond the bounds of this solar system persists, MegaDamage serving as a final gift from the Symbolix Corporation.
Like unto a phoenix, Belphegor summons the Global Guardians anew. For the scant survivors in the wasteland, the rules are set by SKULL and the Invisible Destroyer, for now. Coryana is no more, but the threat of Slovekia has only just begun.
After all that the Vampire Nation has been through, the Queen of Blood is assassinated by Looker 2001 in the name of Monarch, with Andrew Bennett and Red swearing to avenge her. Carnivore stalks under the raining ashes of her former reign.
Black Lightning mourns the Superhuman Homeland Security Force, responsible for saving his life in Markovia, itself razed by nuclear holocaust.
Black Adam intercepted the nuclear missiles launched from Kahndaq, so that at least his country won’t be blamed for the holocaust. To tame Osiris’ blood lust, Adam takes it into himself while relinquishing his powers, leaving the nation in Isis’ care. The former Stormwatch Central, forced out of Africa by the Ravagers and evading the Shadow Lords, join their teammate in Shiruta. It is a rare retreat for Stormwatch Intercontinental, enforcers of the New World Order presided over by the Shadow Lords.
The East yet eludes their rule, though for how long remains to be seen. Samuroids augmented by the Combine’s Haywire technology push into Southeast Asia. The Middle East is unstable, caught between the Ravagers in Africa and Kobra in India, while downwind of Europe’s nuclear winter. Eclipso dominates South America. Australia remains in play.
For all the plays at conquest, none of the barons survived to see the finale to their doomsday game…

THE LANTERN CORPS #80
written by JOHN RIDLEY
art by TONY AKINS
cover by ROBSON ROCHA
At the conclusion of WAR OF THE GREEN LANTERNS, John Stewart and Access were able to trap Krona in a distant, seemingly inaccessible parallel universe, earning the ire of the Red Lantern Corps. When Atrocitus and Rankorr were finally able to force the truth of Krona’s location from Relic, they sealed their own fates, and delivered the multiverse back to the “Renegade Guardian.” Since the simple, pointless death of his family in a house fire, Krona has sought purpose through understanding the essential nature of the universe. Having caught glimpses of its beginning and ending, Krona craved more, and his touching upon the Sixth Dimension unleashed the energies that spawned the multiverse. The chaos that followed launched a vast array of cosmic entities seeking to impose order cross millennia. Now, however, the multiverse is entering the Kali Yuga, age of chaos, and Kronos’ power is waxing.
One of those faltering policing entities is the Green Lantern Corps. One of its members, Jessica Cruz, may have escaped the Darkstars, but she landed in the realm of Mistress Mordeth. Though denied purchase on Earth, her consort Mordru retained much of his power, and recognized his own handiwork in Cruz’s Ring of Volthoom. Initially assuming that he would craft it in the future, his sorcery reveals that it was actually from the past… created by Mordru’s Earth 3 counterpart. Desperate to reach the Corps to warn them of the Darkstars’ maneuvers, Cruz strikes a devil’s bargain with Mordru in search of the soul that empowers her unique ring, leading them to… Ysmault?

TIGRESS #10
written by TED NAIFEH
art by RAFA SANDOVAL
cover by CHARLES PAUL WILSON III
SOCIETY OF SHADOWS: FRATRICIDE CONTINUES! Arnold Wesker & the Geek have led Robin’s party to Shadowcrest, ancestral home of the Zatara family. Robin sees this as the best possible moment to strike at his dissected grandfather, but Catwoman recognizes that Raʼs al-Ghūl will be essential in determining the scope of the threat posed by the coup within the League of Assassins. The Hellhunters have run interferance for Helena so far, but “Tigress” has now been exposed by Croc, with Joker and Two-Face gunning for her. As with Arkham Asylum, Tigress must descend into the heart of Anton Arcane’s madness, this time alone, in order to stop Damian and save one of the world’s most lethal villains. Pursued by the Society of Shadows’ Tigris, Sportsmaster, and Tommy Merlyn, each with their own stake to settle with Tigress, is this the way to Helena’s end?

I loved all the Legion ideas. I loved all the Earth-2 associated ideas. Those are my DC sweet spots. But you had me at Purr Degaton. I’m all in for Earth C!
My apologies, I’ve only just heard this one, the episode having apparently downloaded then disappeared while on a ship. But I found it and loved it!
So many great ideas, I can’t restrict myself to buying just one book. I want Russell’s Super Pets and Legion Academy and Little Cheese.
I want Siskoid’s Gail Simone Legion and the Little Boy Blue book.
I love Russell‘s idea of treating Looker the way Alan Grant wrote her in Detective Comics – and having every issue have a ‘look’ in the title is a great notion – how about adding a fifth issue, ‘Look, she’s dead!’?
And Siskoid’s Losers as the Doom Patroll of Weird War II is superb. But please, no Jonathan Hickman!
As for Russell‘s version of the Losers, a true tales anthology could be excellent. I’ve never heard of the ‘four immortal chaplains’ – fascinating, has there been a movie?
You lads made this exercise sound so easy!
