Yay! We’re so much closer to starting season 3! I can’t wait!
Boy, I don’t envy you two trying to rank the episodes. So close in quality and enjoyment. It’s the equivalent of the optometrist asking “1 … or 2?” and you really can’t tell them apart. There’s a reason I don’t rank or grade the comics on my podcast. Like my kids, I love them all in different ways. (And I’ll leave that comment equating my kids to comics right there.)
Happy holidays, Franklins!
Well, we started ranking them back in JL Season 1, and it was MUCH easier to do back then. For every “Legends” there was a “Warworld”. But now…the quality is so high and consistent, it really is a struggle!
Happy Holidays to you too Tim! Thanks for listening and commenting, because I know you’re busy with podcasts of your own!
Franklins, this was a very enjoyable discussion and trip down memory lane. I agree with Cindy that “Clash” is the bottom of the list for how it makes us feel, despite it being an excellent episode. I’m still waiting for Bruce Timm to call so that he, Rob, and can start work on the first season of Cafeteria of Justice. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Thanks for listening Captain! Who knows, it may have been possible to get a “Tales from the JLU Commisary” series of shorts greenlit in the early days of HBO Max. Can’t see it happening under the Zaslav regime, though.
Bring on the last season! The big, memorable interconnected storylines may be behind us, but I like a LOT of these last few episodes.
Yeah, there’s some great stuff to talk about. I’m getting stoked just going over show info and preparing for our first new episode!
