I got a good team up what if during on during
Reeds an experiments. He opens a portal to the Nintendo verse . And comes Kirby and toon link
Then the portal closes. Yes sue storm teams up with Kirby and toon link along with her son and daughter and Ben’s kids to fight dooms new frightful four which consists of doom , the trapster, the submariner , and claw master of sound . And he’s already captured the three members
Of the fantastic four could this be the end for them .find out in “all this and Kirby too.”
I think the only real problem with the cover is the city background–either someone should have erased all the detail and just left the cityscape silhouette (was Vince Colletta out that day?) OR not use that grey-ish green. Grey tends to deaden any other colors placed near it.
And yeah, that shot of Spider-Woman in the splash is a choice!
Yeah , I think the city on the cover should have been a different color. buildings just are not green. They must have also thought the best part of Spider Woman was behind her. Even though it was more her story than the Invisible Girl’s.
Rob McCarthy’s head cannon.
Sue’s into Fashion Reed MAKES FABrics
Pual cornel made her a rare book dealer
For the most part, I enjoy Marv Wolfman’s writing. Really, I do.
However, considering Marv absolutely ruined two previously great series with new terrible characters (ie Titans with Danny Chase; Tomb of Dracula with Harold H. Harold), maybe we should just be grateful that Chauncey and Trevor only appeared in a few issues.
A FEW?!?!
Weren’t they in more than one issue? Did I misremember that? As I’ve stated before, I’m getting old and haven’t reread my two-in-one’s in a long time.
I meant is as in “JUST a few?!” They’ve been there since FOREVER (at our coverage speed).
Look on the bright side: Think how happy you will be when Chauncey and Trevor are gone! That is something you can look forward to!
Once Harold H. Harold showed up, he just stayed, and stayed….and stayed some more. He really ruined Tomb of Dracula for me. If I ever choose to revisit it, I have the crawling dread in the back of head knowing that he’s coming, and he’s never going to leave.
It’s all about building tension.
Me: Oh wow, a new Marvel two-in-one episode! I’ve been binging these. I can’t wait to check it out.
Ryan: Sue is the least visible member of the Fantastic Four
Me: I’m out.
I listened to this episode as I shoveled my car out of ice and snow. Do thanks for the distraction Sue Richards’ history and Spider-Woman’s butt. “You Won’t See Me” is an underrated song on an underrated album, Rubber Soul. Funny enough, from the same album you could’ve gone with “I’m looking through you.”
I’m going to disagree with you guys, I like the Perez cover. I know it’s busy, but I think it’s impactful and a lot of fun. I always like how he drew a curvy Sue Richards. I will give you that Spider-Woman always seems to have the same flying pose, though.
Great show as always.
It’s weird, I’d usually have *something* to say about the issue itself, but I’ll be darned if I can. Very weird.
But why is no one else proposing Invisible Woman team-ups? Well, I’m going obvious with the Legion of Super-Heroes’ Invisible Kids. Yes, both of them. Dimension travel fubars bring Sue to Jacques’ time, and the only way to get her home is to travel to the time of Lyle. Plenty of action thanks to the TVA’s Justice Peace and old-school Time Trapper getting in the way. Plus Lyle getting a little crush on Sue, for her to playfully muss his hair and say “oh, if you were older, you’d remind me of somebody I know.” Harmless, I promise, since she does like brainy guys.
