Great discussion. I can see why Kirstie Alley won the Emmy for this episode. This is one of her best performances. This might her character’s high point for the series. And I could listen to Frasier singing all day.
This episode and the next one wrap up the Robin arc (though I know he has one last appearance in season 11) In a way, season eight lasted halfway into season nine.
It gets brought up in an upcoming episode(s) that from this point Rebecca doesn’t feel like as important, or like a lead character anymore, but just one of the ensemble.
I have been listening for a while now and am curious if we should know what ADR means or why you assume we know what it means?
ADR is Automated Dialogue Replacement, or “looping”, which is a pretty common thing in film and television.
