Peter tells us that when Frank saw the pillars at the back of the shop, he thought of turning them into an homage to Crime Alley where the Waynes were murdered! The ‘Monarch’ cinema is actually a storage cupboard where Peter keeps overstock of graphic novels and comic supplies!
