  1. Oh, interesting! As if I needed yet another F&W podcast to listen to. You’re scratching another itch that I have. As someone that matches Rob’s age, I too, remember my cartoons being served up on Saturday morning (something my kids will never experience, in these days of Youtube, Netflix, and DVRs).

Looking forward to listening to this podcast.

  2. I am looking forward to the new show. By chance, I just finished reading the new Flintstones book (weird in a good way) and the great Future Quest, I hope there will be some in-depth discussion on Jabberjaw!

  3. At last, a show that explores the wonder that was The Hair Bear Bunch! Please tell me we’ll get some Krofft Brothers goodness………………

  4. ps If you are going to do guests, I call dibs on Thundarr. I’d settle for Flash Gordon, though. Anything with Robert Ridgely! 🙂

    1. We’re calling dibs already? Lol

Fine, I want Inch High Private Eye, Harlem Globetrotters, Brady Kids and all iterations of Gilligan’s Island.

      1. So, wait are you just calling for the Globetrotters or are you including the Super Globetrotters?

Poor Uncle Croc’s Block will probably be left sitting in a corner, by the time we are done.

  5. The first Saturday morning show that I recall loving as a very little kid was “The Banana Splits.” The words “Uh oh Chongo! Danger Island Next!” Still rings in my ears:

      1. “One Banana, two Bananas, three bananas, four…..”

Loved the Three Musketeers cartoon on that show. Alex Toth at his best!

        1. I vividly remember my anxiety about not being able to watch the Banana Splits as a 5 year old when our family went to England for an extended holiday in 1973. I was bewildered when we stayed somewhere with a TV set and I couldn’t find the show, not realising TV stations weren’t the same across the world.
