Enjoying this series very much!
Thought of another comic adaptation of Hamlet you might want to check out: Have you read Kyle Baker’s “The Cowboy Wally Show”? There’s a section in the book where Cowboy Wally and his associates make a Hamlet movie despite several limitations…not the least of which is that they’re all in jail at the time. Hardly a faithful adaptation, but it could be fun to bring it into the discussion.
Hey, I even have designs on Steve Coogan’s Hamlet 2, so…
Great episode! I’m wondering if you have ever come across an interpretation that shows Hamlet and Horatio as lovers?
We’re not there yet, but the Fodor version does provide a moment for them.
