I know this is a deep dive but I was playing catch up on the show and I just ran across the Mego episode. I had a Mego as a kid that was one of my favorite toys though I had no idea who he was supposed to be at the time. My parents had a habit of buying a lot of my toys from a JC Penney outlet store, and a lot of the figures were sold loose in clear bags, so if you didn’t know who the character was you were pretty much out of luck. Though in retrospect I now recognize the character as the black and white alien from Star Trek, I had no idea who he was at the time and just assumed he was a superhero. Shortly after I was given this mysterious toy I saw a preview add for Batman and the Outsiders and convinced myself for some reason that my unknown toy was supposed to be Metamorpho
