  1. Well done to Terra-Man for being able to get through the Bizarro-speak, Bizarro-Bizarro-speak, and Computer-speak in this episode.

And even bigger kudos to Xum for putting all of that together. You you keep raising that bar, Professor. 😀

  2. Thanks for another episode, you’re a wonder, Wonder Xum.

I remember this issue, a typically fun throwaway tale with outstanding artwork.

Was the kid Dwight Decker named for the fan Dwight R Decker, who wrote for Amazing Heroes? I expect so.

Should a little kid be talking about ‘uppers’?

I liked Michael Bailey’s promo, clever stuff.
I appreciate the amount of work you put into this one, Xum, but please, no more Bizarro narration, I can cope with the comics but for some reason it’s always really tough when being spoken out loud. And did I miss some set-up for the massive amount of repetition that was repeating itself repeatedly? I don’t remember the computer speaking like that previously, but maybe it’s a GL cartoon thing – I’ve never seen it. Whatever, it was really annoying! Repetition plus Bizarro-speak made the recap a bit of a headache. I loved the Vartox stuff, though.

  3. Wow, what a production! The usual fun and insightful comic review, plus the ongoing subplot of the mysterious menace stalking the Xum Crew, plus the much-welcome return of Vartox. And layered on top of THAT, the challenge of rendering everything in Bizarro-speech. What’s next? Guest-hosts Etrigan and Matter-Eater Lad do the whole show in rhyming Interlac? 😀 Keep ’em coming!

  4. Another great episode. I really had to pay attention to follow all of the Bizarro-speak, but it was well worth it for the insights you provided. Thanks for keeping me on my toes.

  5. Tim Price trying to think how a Bizarro-Bizarro-Solomon Grundy would talk, but it’s making Tim Price dizzy so Tim Price better take a little nap. But first, fantastic script and execution, Little Professor Man. That was a phenomenal effort, and highly enjoyable. Loved it so much. Now for nappies…zzz…

  6. Good grief, Xum, how many times did you have to re-write all that to keep the syntax consistent? That was an amazing achievement! However, as much as I appreciated all of your efforts, I missed “your” voice, I like listening to “little professor man!”
